Cerruti is a French fashion label founded in Paris, but began as a textile mill in Italy in 1881. The key element in this design was the mirrored light box. The idea was to give what was inevitably a small space the feel of infinite space. Using standard fluorescent light bulbs and mirrors treated with a smoky tent, the retail area serves as a beacon, drawing patrons towards the space. www.casadevallexport.com
