This 30 acre urban park was the reclamation of what became a dumping ground for construction debris and other civic wastes, which once polluted this wetland. Located in Santander, Cantabria is an autonomous community and La Vaguada de las Llamas (or the Park of the Flames) is the small lung for native tree species in the area. The project program included a 2.5km bike path, gym equipment, an amphitheater, museum and botanical gardens. http://www.batlleiroig.com/
